My Hot Weekend Plans

Otori-sanMy supplies for my wisdom teeth post-surgery weekend (yes, I keep talking about it...but it's ripping teeth out of my jaw, I ought to talk about it):

- Lots of gauze
- Frozen peas or cold compresses to keep the swelling down
- Either Percocet or Vicodin or some form of Codeine
- Soft diet made up of Stonyfield yogurt and Mott's Applesauce
- DVDs: Season one of The Osbournes, standby Bottle Rocket, The Warriors, and Eric Rohmer's Rendezvous in Paris
- Stuffed animals: Otori-san (the bird gods from "Spirited Away") and pigs
- Phone, to mumble for delivery or sympathy

I think you're well prepared. Certainly ate enough food at the Olive Garden to tie you over for the weekend.

I know. I don't want to see another plate of pasta for a very very long time. I am hoping this wisdom teeth extraction will kick start me on a diet. Not that I want bloody saliva or a swollen cheek for that long, but I kinda need the help.
