NBC's Friday night line-up: Feel good "Ed" then the depressing "Law & Order: SVU"

Tom Cavanagh NBC is so brilliant, figuring out how to keep me watching on Friday night. They are putting Ed on Friday nights at 9PM. And what does one watch after Ed? Why Law & Order: SVU. This is the best Friday night line up since X-Files at 9PM on Fox, then Homicide at 10PM on NBC during the 1994-1996 seasons (maybe it lasted longer). Ed is the perfect complement to Law & Order. Folksy goodness, then creepy sex offenders. Hurrah!
