Happy Birthday, Schmoopy!

I don't know how it started, but Tania and I started to call each other schmoopy while we were working at Bright Sun. It was a joke, amongst Tan, Courtney (check out 1998), and me - something to annoy our co-workers, I'm sure - but then it just became a habit and then our nicknames. We're not romantically involved - we're just best friends. We go with it as we're goofy Asian girls, and it certainly makes people confused and perplexed when we shout it suddenly. "Schmoopy, do you think this color is good for my nails?"

We had dinner at the lovely Blue Hill in Greenwich Village. We had too much to eat, but Tania turns 27 only once. Again, Happy Birthday, Schmoops!
