Spongy Goodness Now, ever since I reading Odd Todd's exploits of being unemployed, I got hooked on SpongeBob Squarepant's theme song. Virginia Heffernan wonders about the moral universe, as portrayed by Spongebob and friends. Nickelodeon, of course, doesn't think there's anything amiss with Spongebob, but did they realize it would spawn The Church of SpongeBob. Well, one thing is for sure: Any children's show is potential for being the next gay icon.
