Day four of our reporting on the Orchard Street Murder: NYPOST.COM Regional News: COPS SEEK WITNESS IN BANKER SLAY: "Cops want to question an Asian man as a possible witness to the murder of a young banker on the Lower East Side, law-enforcement sources said yesterday." ... yesterday's Newsday adds some additional detail on the case: "New information has emerged to support a Manhattan man's account that his friend was shot and killed by two robbers on a Lower East Side street, police said yesterday."... The case seems to be fading from the papers, which is sad and very New York. ...[Jen, 4:13PM] A site about gunpowder residue, which is what the police says cleared the friend of charges.
